      Here's my personal translation:

"The WBO wants to stew the president of the World Boxing Organization (WBO), Francisco "Paco" Valcarcel, he stated yesterday that the notion of Cotto putting the WBO welterweight belt (147 lbs) on the line against the filipino Pacquiao has not been rejected yet.

"Wait and see", Valcarcel limited himself to say when he was asked about the consequences of the contract Cotto signed so his belt would not be on the line.

"They're going to see the light at the end of the tunnel. The only thing that I can say is that we're to assume that the fight will be for the title", he insisted.

Nevertheless, Gabriel Peñagaricano, legal advisor to the Creole boxer, said that "I'm not going to start a debate with the WBO or with any organization. There's an agreement between the promoter (Bob Arum) and the fighters."

When he was asked if Cotto would renounce his title, his advisor replied that "we have not considered" the possibility."

It's just one pound difference from what he weighed in at against Clottey. It's not that big of a deal. The title should be on the line.

Pay the fee for Cotto then.

The belt should be on the line IMO...to make the fight much more meaningful.

Hopkins' belts were on the line when he fought Oscar at a catchweight of 156 for a middleweight fight. .wasn't it.?

Pay the fee for Cotto or ask Pacquiao to do it. If not STFU no title will be on the line.
