I'm guessing neither wants to part with hundreds of thousands of dollars to the sanctioning bodies. With the huge purses involved, they might as well just keep the money for themselves.

Pac needs to pay for another round of dieting for those fatsos on his payroll.

If Cotto loses, he's still the WBO Welterweight champion of the world! That's a good news.

          Not.

Belt should be on the line!

Call Cotto and tell him you will pay the fee for him!

I'm willing to bet the title will be on the line given the signigifance of what pac could possibly achieve in winning the title.

              As per CNN it is:

Pacquiao the former Flyweight champion of the world

will become the welterweight champion of the world? Nice announcement by Buffer that would be.

How nice it would be as the only fighter to win 7 titles in 7 different weight divisions in the history of boxing?

If Cotto's lawyer says the title is not on the line the frigging title is not on the line. This news sites need to get there **** straight before publishing a story. Not even Arum said this was a title fight when he talked about the fight. Hell I go to the official Top Rank web site and I don't see a single word saying this fight will be for the WW title. This web site are asuming Cotto's title is on the line because Pacquiao can make history by getting it.

First of all Pacquiao is not beating Cotto and second of all Cotto's lawyer said Cotto's WBO title will not be on the line.
