Nope not at all... i dunno wether it was him going up really helped his power or what but go ****ing watch the KO again it was brutal. So don't give me some **** about him knocking down Marquez and him not staying down, that shot would have straight KTFO Hatton at any stage of his career..

Absolutely not. Hatton's chin had totally gone, he was BADLY HURT AND READY TO GO AGAINST INACTIVE, SHOT LAZCANO. He was stumbling around the whole Pac fight because he was stunned and hurt from the first shot.

Hatton's chin had to turned to mulch by numerous beatings culminating in the PBF decimation.

Pac has done NOTHING to warrant him being a favourite over Cotto. Who has he fought about 130? The Holy Trinity of Diaz, DLH and Hatton?

        Garbage.

Diaz was a non-top 5 punch bag who's only positive attribute was a big heart and good chin.

Hatton was shot to **** after PBF took his soul during that 10 round beating. Journeyman Lazcano had him stumbling all over the ring, the corrupt referee allowing Hatton to tie his laces saved him.

DLH should have been in HOSPITAL that night, not in a boxing ring.

Pac's last fight at 130 he was outboxed, outfoxed and generally beaten up by Marquez. The cut and numerous welts on Pac's face coming from the sensational work of 35 year old Marquez's gloves.

Cotto will be STRONG, FIT and READY TO FIGHT come November. He could have stripped for the Clottey weigh-in and been nearly 145.

While Pac has been feasting on bums and getting his face tagged by Marquez, Cotto has been honing his skills as an elite warrior. He has fought all the guys that noone wants to fight: Mosely, Margarito and Clottey and beaten two of them (albeit narrowly). Obviously, there is MASSIVE su****ion that Margarito cheated in that fight in which case you have to grant Cotto the distinction of still being undefeated on even fighting terms, although we will likely never know.

Can you imagine Pac versus any of the prime warriors Cotto fought (Mosley, Quintana, Margarito or Clottey)? LMFAO. The beating would be SEVERE, PROLONGED and CAREER WRECKING for Pac.

This is going to be an awesome fight but Pac is in for a serious beating. We all know he is going to retire soon and that Arum needs a new superstar - well who better to fit the bill than Cotto? The guy was on the verge of it coming into the Margarito fight, no doubt.

        This will be sanctioned murder.
I am not going to backpeddle and argue that hatton was not humiliated in his bout against PBF. He was humiliated in top fashion but I would hardly call it a beating either. That's not to boost Pacquiao's status either because I never though tmuch of hatton. I just don't think he was shot going into the bout with Pacquiao. I concede that DLH was probably weight drained (but he did it to himself being too hungry for revenge) and it sapped him in that fight. I did not want Oscar hurt, but I wanted him KTFO and instead he quit on his stool. Someone, I cannot remember who, posted that regardless of DLH's condition that Pacquiao looked very good that night. I think even a primed Oscar would have been challanged by him that evening. Pacquiaos annhilation of hatton was impressive not because of who hatton was but because of the brevity of the bout. Usually even gatekeepers don't get knocked out that fast.

Now, I expect Cotto will win. I hope Cotto will win. I love that we have a fight where NEITHER boxer is a trash talking buffoon.

Manny's speed may keep Cotto from landing enough or even that one body punch to knock Manny on his rump, but Cotto should win. I expect both fighters will fight so hard they earn the respect of the members of their opposing camps.

I'm not saying Manny didn't look impressive against the Holy Trinity - he did. However, Cotto brings the pain.

What the hell does that have to do with the punch? yeh ofc his chin had seen better days doesn't really matter a punch like that will KO anyone at 140. Your foolish to believe otherwise..

Don't complain, just mortgage your cardboard box and put it all on Cotto to win, hell you could double it easy.

Ricky didn't see the shot coming, and caught it flush on the chin. It was a monster of a shot and it may not have KO'd everyone at 140, but it would KO quite a few.

Pacquiao won't be able to do the same to Cotto but he will definitely bloody him up and force a stoppage.
