Boxers who dont lift no weights? Who are they?

Some guys get muscle-bound and never lift at all, ever. I have bigger forearms and biceps than most people's calf muscles, never lifted in a gym in my life, though I've always done hard work. Genes are the biggest determining factor of muscle mass, but weight lifting to increase size will always slow a fighter. You can lift to tone and increase strength, but when you start maxing out, you are ****ing yourself up.Comment

Well yeah...you should not max out if you're a boxer. I am a powerlifter. My numbers are fairly average, but I do know this: You don't get large muscle mass by accident. My Uncle's a freak. He has hugely strong legs and never worked them with weights and his arms are very solid (especially considering that he's 60). I did not inherit those traits, unfortunately. You may have enormous forearms and huge biceps, but you would be one of few who could do that without serious weight training. Some guys get muscle-bound and never lift at all, ever. No, it's genetic, no doubt. My thighs and calves are also massive, just a big guy all the way round. 6'2", 225, and still have a 33 to 35" waist (depending on the time of year...I gain a little in cold weather).Well yeah...you should not max out if you're a boxer. Just to give you an idea, in gym class, farting around on the weight machine, i was leg pressing over 700 pounds in my sop****re year, and over 800 as a senior, before I went into the military, and have been able to dead lift over 500# since about that time too, and still can, when the need arises.Comment

NO WAY Jeff Lacy doesn't lift weights, he's like a bodybuilder. Miranda has natural muscles, it's obvious.Comment

He said so in a interview. He's naturally built like that.
Search pics from his amateur days and see him.At 18 he looked exactly almost like now.

Ever saw a picture of 13-14 year old Mike Tyson. He looks like a damn linebacker and I'm sure at age he had not lifted yet. I also know a guy who is a beast. He is active and plays a lot of sports but he doesn't lift and he looks like Jeff Lacey.Comment
