I wish Cotto could do yhat, I really do, but I sure as hell do not see him beating Mayweather, if Mayweather is the same as when he fought Hatton.

**** Pacquiao. Cotto vs Margarito is the fight I want to see.

Miguel v Floyd 2010... Pacquiao v Marquez 2010.. Mosley v his wife 2010.. All awesome battles...
Good Post.. lol n a funny one too. But yeah true story is that Pac hasn't let any bigger guy go to his body yet, that is why he rely on his speed punching skills to keep the other guy away. We will see how Cotto can break through that defense and hit that body. Hatton hit Pac on the body good wen on the ropes and Pac felt it, lets see what happens wit Cotto, the expert body puncher.

However if he losses to Margarito before fighting Floyd he could say good bye to that big payday and to Floyd also.

            I Agree.
In terms of money, that should be Cotto's next step, That will be a bigger payday than Pacman (obviously if he beats Pacman)

However I understand the post of people wanting to see the rematch with Margarito. I'm also one of them.

But he has been exposed. Pacman took this fight because unlike a Moseley who is on the upswing, Cotto looks pretty damn ordinary of late. Time will tell though. I'm a real big Pacfan, and I am disappointed he and Mayweather could not put petty stuff aside and give the fans the fight they REALLY want. Maybe it will get done sooner than later.
Where's your "Mayweather Mafia" sig pic?

That people insist on calling Cotto's performance against Clottey subpar without even taking into consideration that Cotto won the fight (barely, but he won) after getting cut on a headbutt and fought 9 rounds with one eye is ludicrous to me.

Mosley is not on an upswing. He defeated a man who wasn't in his game because of what happened before the fight. Plus I believe that Margarito wasn't as motivated for that fight as he was for Cotto's.

I think Miguel Cotto made the best move for his career.
Top Rank has gotten him this far and made him popular.
Why wouldn't he sign with Arum again? I don't think Oscar
De La Hoya would know how to market Cotto like Arum does.
Give Oscar 10 more years and he'll have Golden Boy poppin
in regards to making some quality matches. Right now Arum
                    knows the formula.

It may sound a lil far fetched but I think PBF worked it this way
by postponing his fight with Marquez till September. Floyd/Marquez
in September and Cotto/Pac in November, looks like the winner of those
fights will get it on in 2010, HELL even the losers can square off and
it will still be a big deal.
