The untested and unproven Andre Dirrell is the weakest fighter in this tournament IMO. He's a soft runner who can't handle pressure, he ran like a scared coward in the Stevens fight, Harold Lederman said Dirrell/Stevens was "the worst fight I've ever seen". Dirrell has a suspect chin, he has been dropped and hurt by bums.

I gurantee Dirrell will run like a coward again when he fights Froch

Anyways, I think Kessler is clearly the best of the bunch but it's boxing and when you're fighting such good fighters there's always a chance of an upset or two happening along the way. I honestly believe Dirrell is the dark horse of this tournament, I'd put a little money on Dirrell because the odds on him should be good. He has the speed, size, power and skills to surprise quite a lot of people.

First round predicitions.

Froch vs Dirrell - Dirrell by decision.
Ward vs Kessler - Kessler by decision.
Abraham vs Taylor - Abraham by knockout.

I completely agree with this analysis. I will say that based on the styles, I have Taylor beating Abraham in the first round of the tourny. Abraham is a stiff test, however I believe that Taylor has the straighter punches, and if he shows up fit I think he can pull off the victory.

I completely agree that Kessler is the clear favorite, whereas Dirrell is the wildcard of the tournament. I have Dirrell beating Froch in the first round, Kessler over Ward, and Taylor over Abraham. I believe Dirrell is slated to fight Abraham in the second round, so that should be a hell of a test for him.
