Margarito didn't know it was plaster that was being inserted in his wraps throughout his career, he just thought it was a cast that got harder through the rounds to protect his hands, he thought every fighter did it too, so he's innocent.

And secondly he's not a cheater.

Thirdly, yeah the Mosley fight was a disappointment, but I'm a real fan and I realize what happened there.

He wasn't interested in Mosley to begin with and it showed. He took it as a stay busy fight, he came in unprepared and lost.

A rematch w/ a focused Tony would look much different.

And of course I still respect him.

margarito fans never claimed he was the best.

they just claimed he was tough , had heart and would fight anyone.

also that floyd is scared to fight elite natural welterweights.

margarito fans were right on both counts.

Prior to the handwrap fiasco, there was no real reason to hate him (other than his obnoxious stans). The guy was tough, workmanlike, fought with huevos, was humble and was exciting.

The CSAC didn't find ****. Hence he's coming back in less than a year.

And he never wanted the Mosley fight, he just took it to stay busy. He even threatened to pull out until they gave him more money remember???
