I guess I can't really say the Klits are holding the division hostage anymore since Vlad became the recognized champ by beating Chagaev. But it would still be nice to see the brothers fight each other some day. I am slightly rooting for Haye to beat Vitali though. Even though I don't care that much either way.
Haye, because I think he's a better boxer than Vitali and has a more pleasing style to watch in the ring. It's a risky, dangerous style with all sorts of things done wrong but there's an elegant finesse to it - meanwhile Vitali's is just ugly, slow, plodding and strange. I've tried for years to warm up to it, but nothing can ever convince me that he's so great style-wise.
Also, I'm just not seeing this "killer instinct" everyone keeps raving about - it's more like a slightly aggressive and less honed variation of Wlad's style (the latter of which I've become a huge fan over time), with a silly upperjab used as a rangefinder. Yeah, that's right, an upperjab - a pawing jab which seems to serve as a sloppy uppercut as well.
Bear in mind that none of this is hate, alright? I just happen to dislike the VitMan's style, but fully respect what he's achieved in the ring. In addition to being the champ, he's a totally unique boxer (albeit one I'm not a fan of, but that shouldn't constitute "hate", if anyone tries to make out that I am) not to mention he had Lennox out on his feet and survived a gutsy test by a hard-hitting Sanders. That commands big time respect.
All in all, I'll give Haye a 30% chance to beat him. The other 70% says he'll get clipped hard with a nasty right hand whilst trying to get on the inside, and subsequently won't make it off the canvas. I think that's being generous on the part of both men, don't you? Neither are ******* going into this fight - this is the elite HW business, after all. Someone's going to get seriously hurt in there, so nobody is in a position to hate. NOBODY.
