I think that's hard to imagine given the size and strength Lewis had. But for his size Naz hit like a truck. He would leap in with punches from all angles but if you look at his fights his footwork was horrible. Lucky for him he had extremely powerful legs that could add more force to his punches. But it brings up another question:

Is Naz the hardest hitting featherweight of all time?

How would you guys rate his power against say Manny.

I'm sure it'll come as no surprise to learn that Hamed was and still is a HUGE TOOL.

In fairness to Hamed he did single handedly reinvigorate the fw division and made hbo and the network suits care about the little guys. If he never came about then guys like Pac, Morales, MAB even Floyd would never have had the exposure they've had. Hamed was the fw division in the late 90s.

The guy was a showman and entertainer. To some he was a tool but it was all part of the package - the swagger, the entrances, the show off style and huge KO power for such a small guy.

This hits the nail on the head:

That's because he didn't lose early in his career to a nobody, Naz laid guys like Prescott down like carpets. By the time he lost to Barrera he had earned £40 million, was surrounded by yes men (his brothers and hangers on) and couldn't be bothered to carry on any further than one more fight.

Khan could have come in the ring at 160 and Hamed would still have KO'd him inside 3 rounds - with the first power punch he landed.
