Watch Mayweather-Hernandez, and just watch his feet.

Mayweather's footwork was just great, Whitaker, Calderon, SRL, Ali deserve a mention. By the way, I'm gonna upload Mayweather vs Tony Pep/ Augutus pretty soon, the versions on youtube are bad quality.

His footwork is incredible he's hardly ever off balance and he's always in place to throw shots with full leverage on them.

But when he's forced to move backwards it's nothing more than average look to the Forrest and Wright fights for this, when he's bullied or kept at a distance he just can't seem to adjust moving back it's most likely because he's so used to coming forward where and opponent can't cope with his blistering speed and power

The best footwork i've seen was Floyd Mayweather at 130 and 135. After that, i have Bernard Hopkins, Wladimir Klitschko, Ricky Hatton(offensively), Castillo( offensively) and Margarito(offensively too).

Ricky Hatton has fantastic footwork. Fast and can cut off the ring like nobody. Very underrated footwork.

FMJ has great footwork when he wants to use it. He used it little against DHL and Hatton though.

Bhop is exceptional with his footwork.

Manny is becoming very good as well. Good angles but can still get sloppy when chasing a fighter.

All time. My vote is with Marvin Hagler. In his prime he could move defensively or offensively at the drop of a hat. True master of the ring.

Its B-Hop in my opinion, he made pavlik look amateur and people dont see this but Marquez has good footwork too, i mean he isnt even nearly as fast as pacquaio but his footwork allowed him to catch pacquaio a lot of times.

maarlon thomas could really move when he wanted too, he was smooth. Corey Johnson aswell, hard to get a hold of. Salmaci could move well too. The best
ive ever seen would be a middleweight James Toney. When he wanted too he could move............Rockin'

floyd period....not just at 130, but at 140 also....he used his feet a lot at 140, but the fight with coralles and castillo and even gatti, floyd used his feet beautifully...you could see how fluent his balance was...hell, just look at how he jump ropes and shadowobxes, perfect execution of footwork, and using his feet going forward or backwards....he is the closest to being a perfect boxer period....no contest....his footwork also helps his upperbody placement which he used very well in the sosa fight....man, you people have to really watch his old fights man.....this kid is the truth....

thank you...i always talk about floyd vs pep and jukko, which he used amazingly also...justin jukko....tonyt pep hardly landed anything on floyd, anything, through 12 rounds....it was imo his most masterful performance vs a legit fighter up until coralles and then the gatti fight, he used his feet very well as well as his stance---it's ninja like....he can move back fast or slow or just cruise and use his opponent's pace against them, just like he did with sosa and pep....very hard for most to notice this....i am a boxing rewinder and slow motion watcher.lmao...don't ask what it means...i have watched many fights over and over in slow motion to truly get the movements of fighters....call it crazy, but i did it.....

none better and more smooth then floyd mayweather jr....fact....
