Finally! And this is a good thread! Wow, refreshing after reading so many troll filled threads about this fight. I don't mind somebody rooting for their fav fighter, it's when people make it personal and the name calling and **** talk starts that turns me off.

I hope to see more good threads like this. Even though I'm obviously a cotto fan, I have a LOT of respect for Manny, and you have never seen me **** talk him or say he's going to lose. I like Manny, and he is a monster, and you have to respect that love of his for being in a ****storm fight. I have never seen a boxer with so much love of just being in a fight...the more intense and violent it gets, the more he loves it.

On the other hand Cotto is a 3 time world champ of which the likes that Manny has not yet faced. He's a real beast that hits very hard and fast, thinks on his feet and has a deadly left hook that has sent more than one boxer to the canvas with one liver shot.

Her's to hoping we have a long, fair, entertaining fight, and may the best man win!

He's a great fighter and either guy can win. i just hope it goes awhile, us fans get our moneys worth, and nobody gets seriously hurt. But one man will lose. I will actually feel bad for either guy. They both deserve to win. Both are true warriors.

Actually, lots of puerto ricans are routing for Pacquiao only few ricans are blinded by the fact that Cotto boxing skills is in the decline while Pacquiao haven't reach his potential.

This is the kind of post I'm talking about. The poster does NOT have direct knowledge that Cotto's skills are in decline, OR that Manny has yet to reach his full potential. This is nothing more than speculation.

And as for that video you posted...who won those fights? You googled for a kids biased utube video of the most difficult parts of a couple Cotto fights to try to discredit him. Slick.

Wow, what a fight. At 145 its no problem for cotto having weighed in at 146 for his last fight. Its hard to tell exactly without seeing these guys up close and in the flesh, but pac really looks like a midget to me sometimes. In the build up to the hatton fight i often commented on hatton looking the bigger man in their pre fight fun like playing darts and posturing. Floyd even made hatton look a little small at times so going by that you would think pac could be in trouble. But freddie roach is pretty smart and must believe pac can win. Pac has a big advantage in speed. If cotto can adjust to pacs speed it could be trouble for pac, but i just think pac will take this one. I like both of these guys.

Co-sign. I love both fighters. But as of right now I believe Cotto's power and underrated movement and ring generalship will be too much for Pac in the long run. Either way its going to be an amazing fight.
