    Khan vs Ortiz?????? Who wins?

I know a lot of silly posters will say Khan just because Ortiz lost his last fight but actually compare the two.

What would Khan do had he got hit with the same punches Madaina was caught with?

Also, how would Ortiz react to a fighter that actually boxes him rather than fight. Will he be able to adapt to Khans style?

    Thoughts please......................

Khan...... Ortiz was exposed by Madaina and Khan is too fast.

    Ortiz.

Khan is somewhat destined to lose against anyone who is any bit offensive minded.

The punches Ortiz had Madaina down with were solid hard punches. I cant see Khan getting up from those sort of shots.

Ortiz has more gears than Khan, plus the power to hurt him even if his chin is much improved since 135lbs

Which is why I said Khan will lose.

It's such a shame because Khan has the fastest hands in boxing at the moment, he's got great stamina which contributes to his workrate. Throwing 900 punches a fight and moving like he does is phenomenal. I wouldn't call it running, more like positioning.

But his chin will always let him down and there is nothing he can change about that. He took a few shots against Kotelnik and survived but that won't matter when you face someone who can punch.

Khan's the better boxer, so i would favour him but a lot depends if he can take Ortiz's best shots? If he can, then Khan would box his ears off.

His defense in his last fight was pretty average. He needs to do more than just put his hands up to block shots and defend.

I dont see him fighting a top 140 guy for at least the next 2 years.

Khan isn't the finished article yet. In fact. i'd go as far as say he's still a prospect. 22 years old.

The fight with Kotelink was the first time we saw Khan put what he had learned under Roach into practice, and from what i saw, it was a massive improvement defensively. Before he got with Roach, Khan didn't know what defense was! He'll get better in that department, and in all departments frankly. He's super talented.

As for Khan not fighting the top guys, well that's to be expected because he isn't ready yet and i think his team knows it as well despite what's being said about possible future opponents. (I think he'd beat Hatton though)

Also hope you weren't putting Ortiz in that 'top guys' bracket? because Khan's developing a lot quicker then Ortiz IMO.

If Khan could avoid Ortiz's bombs, he would win a clear decision.

I would expect Ortiz to catch him big at some point in a fight though.

                  Ortiz by TKO/KO.

Once you become a world champ you ARE expected to fight the other top guys in that weight.

Its no good him still fighting journey men. He's a world champion now and needs to fight top contenders.

If he does fight Morales next, he'd be the biggest ***** on this earth.

Lets just wait and see what his next move is. I hope he defends his title against a top 10 140 pounder.
