Warren Tells Ricky Hatton To Avoid Khan, Retire Now

Promoter Frank Warren has advised Ricky Hatton to hang up the gloves and avoid an all-British showdown with WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan. Warren is the current promoter of Khan and the former promoter of Hatton. He says a Khan-Hatton bout is bad for the sport because Hatton doesn't have that fire anymore. Warren also points to Hatton's recent health issues. The Manchester star is still hospitalized with an unknown illness. There are some who believe that Hatton's illness has to do with his bad eating and drinking habits. [details]

I agree, Hatton needs to stay away from a Khan fight.

I don't think he should retire. I wouldn't want to see him and Khan fight though. Like I said, should fight the Bradley or Campbell.

Warren is goading Hatton to fight. This will make him more of the green stuff.

Like doesn't that make the most sense? For Khan to fight the winner of Bradley Campbell? That would be the best match up by far at the weight as far as I'm concerned. Then let him fight Maidana or whomever...that is if he even gets passed Bradley.

amir is not ready for bradley or pacquiao yet.

juan diaz , juan manuel marquez , paulie malignaggi , nate campbell , joan guzman , julio diaz , david diaz and ricky hatton are all very beatable for amir though.

                  JMM is Pacquaio's complete equal.
