Did Mosley turn down 8 mill for a fight against Margo

I'm watching Margo vs Cotto for the first time in a while. Jim Lampley mentioned that during Margo's ring walk. But I was never familar with that before if that is true.

No Floyd was the 1 who turned down the 8 million to fight Margarito. I believe both Shane and Margarito both made 4 million each for their fight.

Yeah you're right after Forrest beat him twice he had a bad run. He then had a NC against Raul Marquez, bad performance against Hoya, lost to Winky 2x. Then he fought Estrada and Cruz to gain his confidence back. Then fought Vargas 2x and the rest has been history.

But as a big Shane fan, his managment does piss me off. As for the Forrest fights I can live with that. That was #1 and #2 fighting. I believe that should always happen. But he turned down 10 mill for a third Hoya fight. 10 mill for a Floyd fight. Instead of Fighting Wright he should have just faced Tito for a lot of money. Wright was just a bad style period. But the cat still deserves a mega fight now. I just don't believe he will get it.

Both Floyd and Mosely turned him down in 2006. Obviously Mosely didn't have any problems taking a fight with Margarito when he was on top though.

He prolly didn't know what he was saying or got confused. It was Mayweather who turned down the 8 mil. I don't think Mosley was ever in the talk about fighting Margarito until after Cotto-Marg bout.

It was Mayweather who turned down Margo for 8 mil and opted to fight Baldomir.**** and even if it was Shane who did that before well he redeem himself by ko Margo silly!!!!
