What excuse? I'm not claiming anything about Manny fighting the best welterweights. I'm just pointing out that this fight is one Bob Arum desperately wanted between two of his fighters, whereas Mosley is Golden Boy and Arum never wanted that fight. All Mosley's begging was irrelevant because the fight between Pac and Cotto was never in danger of not happening.

Mosley is the man at 147, if Pac beats Cotto he is not the man at 147.
