Bob Arum. So much for keeping things "in-house".

Bob Arum. So much for keeping things "in-house".

Pairing Cotto/Pac together instead of SSM/Pac made sense because they were both TR property. Keeping things "in-house" as Arum said.

Did it really make a difference as far getting the deal signed in time?

I'm starting to feel that just maybe...even if it's a long shot that PBF/Pac is possible this year. Just because the Cotto/Pac isn't finalized yet. Who knows maybe when I'm done submitting this the fight will be confirmed officially....Who am I kidding lol.

Pac/PBF won't happen because I don't think either camp will be able to agree on $ split.

My opinion? Make Pac fight SSM at 145+ and capture the Lineal belt.

Since we all know that Manny won't ever unify the WW division because well...He'll never be a true WW.

Beating SSM (if) would basically give the lineal title correct?

    ugh...

I'm voting for a SSM at 145+ or even better...

PBF pays off JMM to step aside...Then in Arum fashion steal JMM for a 3rd fight w/ Pac haha. JMM/Pac is what the true boxingfans thirst for right now.

I can already imagine the title for the fight.

    Unfinished Business.

That fight would have so much more to hype up about.

The 24/7 for JMM/Pac would be intense....

Shane Mosley doesn't hold the lineal WW title...Floyd Mayweather Jr does.
He beat Baldomir for it. When he semi-retired the lineal championship went into hibernation.

To lose the lineal title you must lose it in the ring.

Mayweather holds the lineal title...he beat the man who beat the man...that man being Baldomir who beat Judah for it.

Mayweather retires = loses Lineal title. There is no such thing as semi-retire. Also when you say hibernation what you mean is...Vacant.

Why do think the fight between Marg and Cotto was so huge? Because the winner was going to be the Lineal champ. SSM beat Marg so....Go figure.

Saying May still holds the lineal title is like saying he's still the 1# p4p king. Hilarious.
