I'd pick Khan to beat Hatton at this stage.

He'll use a similar tactic that he used against Kotelnik. Using his jab to keep him away, a quick combo, then back on the outside.

Ricky has no defense whatsoever and would just get tagged with punches all night. Khan will drop Hatton a few times in the fight.

But it's a shame Hatton will never fight again.
Khan will land more punches, but he doesn't have much power. Kotelnik never once looked troubled or even fazed by Khans shots. Ricky's chin isn't as bad as people make it out to be, as Pacquiao was landing powershots flush all throughout those two rounds and landed a monster shot that would have KO'd anyone.

Ricky should, for the first half of the fight at least, be able to walk through Khan's shots and trouble him with his own.

Khan isn't a one punch ko artist, but he has enough power to get his opponents respect. He certainly could knock down Hatton a few times and maybe knock him out, if he wears him down enough. Remember that Hatton is a punch bag, and Khan would land at will. He is too fast. Hatton would have to land a lucky punch early, because Khan will stop Hatton before 5.
Did you see Kotelniks face in the Maidana fight though? He was busted up.

I agree though, if Ricky doesn't get Khan out of there before the latter end of the fight, then Khan could get a TKO stoppage.

Kotelnik has an iron chin. He's never been put down before or stopped in his entire professional career.

Ricky's chin isn't as strong as Kotelnik's though. Pair that with the fact that Hatton doesn't have any defense and it spells certain disaster.

Ricky walking through Khan's shots? No chance. Khan has an amazing workrate and will keep Hatton at bay all night.

Khan looked awful fighting on the backfoot. He was lucky Kotelnik was too poor to make it count.
