Amir Khan just beat a VERY good fighter

People really don't realize how good of a fighter Kotelnic is.

Anyone see Kotelnic's fight with Junior Witter. A loooot of people, including myself, thought Kotelnic won that fight. Even if you didn't have him winning you have to admit that he gave Witter hell.

Kotelnic also has solid wins over Mohammed Abudllaev (Olympic gold medalist, very competitive fight), Gavin Rees undefeated world champion), and Marcos Maidana. We all seen what Maidana can do a few weeks ago.

I'm not daying Kotelnic was some p4p top fighter or nothing but that dude is a very solid fighter and knows how to handle himself in the ring.

The fact that Khan clearly beat this guy is impressive to me. It's no easy task.

I'm no Brit, or Khan fan. Just a boxing fan telling it like it is. Good win for Khan, and I'm impressed.

I still think Khan should try and stay clear of the big punchers in the division, like Marcos Maidana. Luckily for him, he can just say why should I fight Maidana when I just beat the guy who beat him lol.

Kotelnik was very underated. He gave Witter a boxing lesson - that was a DISGRACEFUL night for Britsh boxing when Witter took that decision.

Good win for Khan. You can bet your ass they will run from Maidana though.

Kotelnik is a very good name on Khans resume at this stage . Kotelnik gave Witter everything he could handle and i thought he deserved a draw in that fight at the very least .I guess Witter will eat his words about Kotenik koing Khan now that Khan has beaten Kotelnik much more convincingly than him. The NSB forum was full of people saying Kotelnik was going to ko Khan after Maidana beat Ortiz , now that Khan has won there are already several threads discrediting khans opponent. Its just pathetic and a knock on Kotelnik , who is a very capable fighter who has for once lost convincingly.

Kotelnik is a very solid fighter. He was the least dangerous opponent for Khan among the title holders though.

But that doesnt take away from the fact that this is a good win against a top 5 JW.
