Julio Cesar Chavez vs Manny Pacquiao at 140

This is a very interetsing fight. Who knows, with Roach around - it could still happen!

At 135/140 I could see a Pac UD. He has been very smart there.

This is very hard to pick. I just remembered the Taylor fight.... damn, we all know who really won that fight.

We know who won the Battle and Who won the war. At the time everybody says that Taylor should have won that battle. But years later, we seen who won that war.

I have the edge to Chavez at this weight because Chavez is arguably the GREATEST 140 pounder of all time or at least top 3. Pacquiao is great in his own way and i wouldn't be suprised if he pulled it out. But Chavez has the edge to me.

taylor might have been outpointing him but chavez beat him up bad.

maybe steele shouldn't have stopped it but he had reason to.

taylor made a mistake of not looking at steele when steele was talking to him. meldrick later said that he was looking at his corner but richard interpreted it as him being out of it.

he was out of it anyway.

manny has had ONE fight at 140.

maybe if he gets another good win or two at 140-147 then i can change my mind.

but right now comparing pacquiao to chavez is like comparing marquez to duran at 135 after marquez only had 2 wins at 135.

pac would make a prime chavez look over the hill... believe in the thing called pac

i do believe in pac.

what he has done is great and this one of the top fighters of all time and the greatest of his era.



that said......pac has the frame of a featherweight. no matter how many wins he has above 130......it ain't gonna change that.

until pacquiao ko's mosley and cotto and them , i favor chavez.
