mosley is gonna ride on that marg ko until he retires. thats a distant memory he said cotto is a step backwards and not even looking anywhere else at 147. hes a fool to attempt 140 with all that muscle mass he has. shane needs to look back when jones lost all that mass to go back to LH... that completely killed him.

Why should he have to fight Berto or Clottey? Because Arum won't let his fighters near him? Last I checked Mosley was coming off an impressive victory and an ATG with a resume that puts both these mens to shame. Since when is it a crime for an ATG thats nearing the end of his career to pursue the best fights and try to do whatever it takes to get those fights? I can understand that many want to see Cotto Vs Pac but it's not the best fight out there. Cotto for one doesn't deserve the fight based on his last three fights. Mosely's last three fights were actually far better than Cotto's,he fought Cotto in MSG in a fight that was close at best. I feel Cotto didn't do enough to take out the proven ATG and had the fight a draw. Cotto got the victory and Mosley at very least proved that he was indeed still a top fighter being that it was so close. Mosley then fought Mayorga who was by far a better opponent than Jennings was for Cotto's comeback and Shane pulled out a KO in the last second tio assure victory and Cotto looked horrible against a man he should have crushed. No way anyone can argue the Jennings was ever anywhere near being even half of what Cotto is "Supposed" to be. Then Mosley destroyed the #1 WW in the world at the time, the same man that made Cotto quit. Mosley has done everything that he had to to keep his spot and he is being treated like he's less than Cotto, which is absurd being that Shane has a way better resume and has more impressive victory's right now. Shane wanted Cotto to begin with after his win, he wanted the rematch at staples being that he fought in his backyard the first time. Cotto fans have no problem with MSG Cotto's backyard but feel it's insane for Shane to want to fight in his? 20,000 for the margorito fight and Cotto would do more the same people that supported Margorito would probably Cotto there as well. many probably supported margorito because of his win over Cotto, so thinking Cotto wouldn't do similar numbers there isn't that unreasonable. At the end of the day Shane deserves a fight with one or the other, as you can see he's not going away and neither will his fans the man desreves the fight he is the best WW out there and an ATG, he's willing to fight at 140 for a belt or he will fight at 147 he's not being a ***** about weight or demanding money and being greedy like people claim he wants to fight and boxing fans of Cotto and Pac are mad that he actually wants to fight and end the business drama that has produced no fight in all of 2009. Also after Floyd fights if Mosley still don't have a fight I will be just as hard on Floyd for not taking the fight as i am Cotto or Pac, Floyd is my favorite active fighter and I would still be angered if he didn't try to make the fight. i have no problem with him not fighting mosley first though either, Cotto and Pac have been active and they won't get near him now, so Floyd is not nor should he be expected to take that fight after nearly two years off.

Exactly and great post. Shane has worked his way the hard way to get were he is. Berto, Clottey, and Williams need to fight against each other. It makes me sick when people tell me who Mosley needs to face. Clottey hasn't won a meaningful fight in his life. I thought he edge out Cotto but he didn't finish strong. So that was his fault. Williams is a fighter that nobody wants to fight. Shane is like been there/done that. Berto turned down big money because he doesn't want to be great. Shane deserves fights with Floyd, Cotto, and Pac period.

they are all starting to piss me of tbh. pac and mosley used to be warriors, in the ring they still are. but outside of it they are acting like punks and are hurting the sport badly. catchweights are killing boxing. we already have too many divisions and titles, and still the so called best cant decide on one. its real sad. decide on a division and try to unify. dont just go for the most money even though the matchup really dont make any sense.
