haye ruined him. but there wasnt all that much to ruin. he was a decent fighter before, now hes trash. haye beating him isnt a great win, it is decent. smashing a titlist is never that bad, even though this was a weak one. macca was a decent fighter who got a easy road to a paper title, tried to unify and lost what little ability he had. never something special but not the bum some ppl make him out to be eighter.
Victories over these two clowns are supposed to represent the greatness of Davey Haye? LOL! Vitali is going to toss this clown around the ring like a rag doll and then crush him like a bug. Vitali KO 3 > Haye.
Feel sad about Enzo. He is a good guy, and was hoping he could do the business tonight and again...just got caught. Face was a complete mess after, only 3 rounds, a damn shame. Good guy and good luc kwhatever he decides to do.
Man Macca is a ****ing bum. I can't believe people were hyping Hayes win over this loser so much.
That's because there's no one else Haye has beaten who was
much better. Monte Barrett, who fell on his head entering the
ring? LOL! Wlad destroyed him years ago, as did Valuev.
Vitali won't waste any time on Haye. Expect the type of beating
that Macca got today. Quick, mean and bloody, with Haye
either out cold or a broken up mess by the end of round 3.
Was this televised anywhere? I always enjoy watching Mac get knocked out for some reason.
Anyway, a few comments about this conversation in this thread:
Enzo was a much better fighter before Haye if you just watch the fights. He always was fragile and chinny (an alarming, growing trend in British boxing), but he had good, controlled aggression and was a lot to handle for anyone who he met. Fighters like Afolabi would not have beat him pre-Haye. He was no great, legend building win by any means, but he was a better fighter then. To boldly claim otherwise becomes a transparent attempt to denigrate Haye and comes off as insecure and a bit odd as it is just obvious that Mac wasn't the same just from watching the fights. It is odd because, well, Haye's resume IS very weak without question at heavyweight. All you have to do is point out that he has never faced a contender at the weight and you win the debate. His best win overall is still Jean Marc Mormeck, which is really the only indisputably good win on his resume.
