Mayweather Jr. vs Brian Kenny "The Rematch"
BY: Albert Alvarez
What are your thoughts on Mayweather Jr. vs Brian Kenny the rematch Interview on ESPN the other day? My thoughts were the same as the first interview, When doing interviews, Floyd should always have Leonard Ellerbe and Al Haymon at his side at all times. When Brian asked Floyd if he feels Marquez can carry a card more than Mosley can, Floyd always says the same thing, '' When has Mosley been on the A side of a promotion?'' Brian should counter by reminding Floyd that the only time Floyd was on the A side of a promotion was when Floyd faced Zab and that only did roughly a little over 500,000, when Shane fought Vargas the fight did slightly better numbers. So Brian should remind Floyd that when Floyd fought the late great Gatti, Gatti was the A side of the show otherwise the fight would have taken place in Vegas. Floyd for sure wasn't the A side of the promotion versus Oscar or Hatton and Floyd for sure will not be the A side attraction if he ever fights Pacquiao, so #1- What exactly is Floyd talking about here? And #2- Why does he feel that he deserves more than a 50-50 split over Pacquiao if they were to fight?
