has AMIR KHAN ever beat anybody good?

Fanatic British fans love to uphold a fighter before he does anything or if he fights bums his whole career ALA Nassem Hamed.

I haven't seen much of Khan but has he beat anybody any good? why was Prescott's victory considered in upset?

The fight when he fought Willie Limmond he got put down and came back to win and in my opinion Limmond is a good fighter.

Some would argue that Barrera was a good fight but it's questionable.

What a terrible post. List all your favourite prospects first 22 fights and count how many good fighters they have beaten.

prescott, yes. khan ran right into it. thats dumb poise!

if you look at khans record he has fought no one that rated on the world scene. most scribes say that warren got his gift with khans win over barrera and that it would of been stopped early anywhere else.
but khan sure looked good early and later when barrera was blinded.
i'm of the opinion that if slow starter barrera could of seen and got kid khan into the mid rounds the outcome could of been differant.

this is the first worldclass guy khan has been in with. kotelnik isn't an elite but his resume shows he's a serious expierienced character.
going 12 against souleymane m'baye and that maidana.
i'm guessing kotelnik finds away to knock khan off roaches gameplan
and he folds in mid rounds. and even kotelniks power is enough over time to break khan down.
i expect to see a roach improved khan early.

After doing a little research a while back ( at the time of the Martin Kristjansen fight) Khan was 16-0 before that fight

I noted that until and including Martin Kristjansen , the average KO% of his opponents was 13.2%
So he has been very carefully matched...even Now once again he is going after a guy with a low KO%

Prescott was obviously consider low risk despite his KO%

The guy is 22 so i dont expect him to have a long list of great fighters on his resume, Name me a 22 year old who has more than 3 recognised name on his resume after 22 odd fights.....I would wait for you response.

And another thing, You would hardly see any british boxing fans hype him up has anything other than a prospect...
