Pac will get full credit for beating Molsey at 140

But he doesn't know how he will be when he drops the weight to 140. The weight Shane said he should have been from the start was 140 and not under...but if 140 was what he thought his healthy starting weight should have been...how is he going to make it now after years of training with more muscle mass on his body that may not come off in a healthy way?
At his age, it can be very risky. History shows us this.
If you want to face a Past Prime Shane Mosley, at least do it in a division he looked healthy in...147. At least Pac will get some credit for that win even though Shane is past his best.
If this fight goes through at 140 and Shane shows up drain or wears out quickly because of it, it will be bad for boxing.Last edited by Benny Leonard; 07-18-2009, 02:59 AM.Comment

This fight ain't happening because uncle ain't letting it happening.
Mosley unknowingly is giving team pacquiao another leverage in the negotiation. I don't know but this recent mosley challenge which borders desperation seems intentional.Comment

This fight is meaningless.Mosley is overestimating his ailities at 140.He hasnt made the weight for a long time and he will be drained. The movement will evaporate and the power will be gone.He will get knocked out.I dont think Shane means it,if he does then he's got a new designer steroidIf this fight happens and Pac pulls it off he deserves all the credit in the world. The same with Mosley if he wins. Both fighters will be taking huge risk, plus the name Mosley on a Pac resume will be huge. The name Pac on a Mosley resume at 140 will be huge. I see alot of history in this fight. The winner will have to get a fight with Floyd. There wouldnt be anymore excuses. If Pac loses he can fight JMM or retire as a soldier. If Mosley loses, he can retire as a soldier.Comment

Course not, Mosley hasn't fought in that division for a long long time. On the other hand, if Mosley beats him that's gonna look very bad on Pac.If this fight happens and Pac pulls it off he deserves all the credit in the world. The same with Mosley if he wins. Both fighters will be taking huge risk, plus the name Mosley on a Pac resume will be huge. The name Pac on a Mosley resume at 140 will be huge. I see alot of history in this fight.
