Everyone including myself is talking about Mosley being a dead man at 140 and looking like another Oscar. However, what if Mosley actually turned back the clock? What if he looks good at 140 and because of the weight, he actually looks like the monster he use to be at the lower weights? The guy with blazing speed and straight KTFO type power?
You guys know that I talk about the WW stuff alot on here about Floyd and how I feel that as great as he is, he never will be remembered as great as he shouldve been because he kept moving up even when he didnt have too. My point for making this thread is to think about if Shane looked like that monster from 10 years ago who alot of people felt that 140 would be his best division. Obviously he's not going to look as good as he did back then but he looked like a monster against Margarito so imagined if he still looked that way but it was at 140? I mean he would straight decapitate a cat like Bradley or Campbell.
If this fight does come off then I would be a little upset because I think Floyd wouldve made a different decision. I think he wouldve tried to fight JMM at 140 instead. How awesome would it be to see SSM vs Pac at 140 with both at the peak or there games and seeing Floyd back at 140 again against Pac with the winners facing eachother? Think about how Floyd looked at 140 and how much he let his hands go. Now think about how SSM use to look back in the day and think about how Pac looked against Hatton. At 140 all these guys could look like straight monsters. It would be some of the best fights of all time. Even JMM physicaly is starting to look pretty good at 144 so I know he wouldve looked good at 140. Basically Im really just thinking about how awesome a fight would look between Floyd and both Pac & Mosley at 140. It just goes back to my point of the WW stuff and you have to admit that its true. Floyd vs the WW's are good fights but youre still not going to see the best fight it could be. Now if you see Floyd fight those guys at 140 then you would see it. This is ofcourse if they can legitmatly make the weight. Floyd vs SSM at WW is a great fight. Floyd vs SSM at 140 is a legendary fight. ATG type **** if Mosley can pull the weight off. To me it may be the most anticipated fight of all time for hardcore fans. The speed & skill would be unmatched and Floyd would be much more confident and let his hands go much more at that weight against anyone.
