Khan deserves respect if he beats Kotelnik

    Because...

-Kotelnik is going to take him the distance (or is very likely to) meaning that khan will have to stay in the ring for 12 rounds without getting k.o'd

-Kotelnik is a veteran with WAY more experience than khan

-Khans had 1 fight at 140 3 years ago and got knocked down (argueably) by a bum

-Kotelnik is a tested champion who had defended his belt successfully, not a paper champion

-Less than a year khan got KTFO, now hes fighting for a world title

IF khan wins this fight will members stop hating and going 'LOL CHINNY HYPEJOB A MERE CON' because he will be the WBA champion, hes not longer a 'chinny hypejob' but a world champion fair and square (assuming no bs decision)

Khan gets way too much hate, cant you apprechiate a guy whos exciting to watch with fast hands and a tendancy to get into good fights?

      Agreed.

It's where he goes after this win that interests me - this is just a milestone.

I agree and hope he can pull it off!

Klot loses have all been very debatable too.. he is a good champ and former silver medalist (lost to the same guy Khan did in the finals). He also beat 25-1 (25ko) or something Marcos Mandina who just beat another very hot prospect in Ortiz, all though i hear that might have been a slightly lucky win for Klot.

Brit fighters don't win there FIRST World title by fighting the toughest title holder out there - That's just the way it is with us and especially with Khan being a Frank Warren fighter so you can't dig him out for that IMO.

Agreed, IF IF IF IF (because to me kotenlik/khans 50/50) he beats kotelnik who does khan fight? Maidana? Prescott? Hatton? All of those guys look likely and all could probably destroy him if he isnt perfect

I really hope he faces Prescott and try's to avenge that loss, that **** would sell big time. All though you could argue it would sell more down the line when they are more established but i get the feeling Khan can be KO by anyone/anytime

So maybe best to get that fight done fast while he has a world title (if he wins)
