He's lost it alright. I'm worried now that he'll get the fight instead. It'd be pretty dumb on Cotto's part to sacrifice himself for money like Shane is doing.

            Not really

I frown upon catchweights because typically the bigger guy will be at a disadvantage and if your in need of a catchweight, you probably shouldn't fight the bigger guys...but these fighters sign the contracts and when they do, it's open season

              Excellent post.

If your to small to run with the big dogs stay the *** out of the big dogs yard...or you will get mangaled...

However if you catch the big dog at a disadvantage and the big dog goes after you anyway and gets beat...thats his faulght.

a cathweight at 144 it's ok, going all the way down to 140 it's nonsense, then again the guy's in his late 30's and already on a long layoff since beating Margs, so he must be desperate, still it's ******ed if he does it

No way! Shane should not even consider 140. He'll just be another guy who went out a shell of himself by losing too much weight.

Think Ray Leonard, De La Hoya, Roy Jones, Muhammad Ali, Rid**** Bowe.

Dont do it Shane, chase Mayweather and Cotto and dont touch Pacqiou at anything under 145.
