isn't it that before the fight most of you never gave pac a chance of beating dela hoya? honestly, i didn't also thought that pac would beat oscar. but unlike most of you, i'm not going to criticize pac for it because he did his part. he trained well, he came to the fight well prepared and he executed his fight plan. oscar didn't do his part. now who should be blame pacquiao? that's what most of you did and until now you're still bringing this ****.

Then why was Dela Hoya a one time thing...Freddie himself said that he knew Dela couldn't make the weight.

I'm not blaming Pacquiao...He came in and did his part...but that doesn't change the fact that his part was to come in a beat on a corpse...That was Dela's crappy decision making and overestamating his body's capablilities..it is what it is...Dela was a shell.

      • I wouldn't criticize Pacquiao if he jumped on this opportunity to take this fight under these conditions. In fact, it looks kind of like a double-edged sword. If he beats Cotto with all of these negative distractions that Cotto has to deal with like the lawsuit with his uncle, no effective training corner, the demons from the Margarito loss, and the unimpressive performance against Clottey, it will look like Pacquiao fought Cotto because he viewed him as an easier fight than Shane Mosley. And people will say he was scared of Mosley because Shane was willing to give up the world to fight Pacquiao with one-sided concessions, and Pacquiao still wouldn't jump on the opportunity. And then of course there would be a fraction of people that would discredit a Pacquiao victory due to the weight scenario if Pacquiao beat Mosley. Manny is kind of in a no-win situation there, I will have to admit.

Mosley would probably make 6million upwards if he fights Pacman on PPV, Its all about him wanting to make a big pay before he retires and i dont blame him except for him putting his legacy/healthy at risk with the 140 thing.

          • No venom from me will be directed at Pacquiao if he beats Mosley at 140. I would favor Williams slightly over Mosley at 147, but if Mosley beat him people would use the fact that Paul had to drain weight to discredit that victory. Right here is no different. And as I mentioned before, catch weights just add more confusion. People can't get the weight for the Marquez-Mayweather fight straight. Catch weights just take the shine off of fights, especially between established fighters. My beef with Pacquiao is pushing the envelope when a fighter has already said he wouldn't go below a certain weight, and Pacquiao is using hard ball tactics to get the weight lower. And it looks shady to a lot of people because he has already fought at Welterweight.

              • A fight with Shane @ 143-144 would be better and we should also see a rematch between Cotto and Clottey. Sounds good.

hell yeah, it sounds like it is. Also, I dont think Bob Arum will let Pac fights Mosley at any weight, he wants to keep the fight in house. For some reason I dont trust this guy(Arum), he wants to do Pac and Cotto so bad, and Cotto is not the same anymore. Something ugly might happen at fight night, that's probably the going away party that Arum is reserving for Cotto before the contract is done. Just my opinion.

                  • Don't blame Pac for this one, Mosley is the one offering it.
