margarito was just a wrong place at the wrong time case...floyd fought carlos baldomir instead...that's who was the reigning champ and the man to beat...people didn't really start hyping margo until damn near a year later...but by that time...mayweather had already been running for the de la hoya fight...margarito had some type of delayed hype after the cintron win...but got done up by paul williams...why would floyd fight a guy who just lost...he took hatton and the extra payday and retired...

ok. lets say that williams vs cotto is a mismatch cause of the size, and cotto didnt fight williams because of that. is that also the case why floyd declined margarito's call out? cause margarito vs floyd is a mismatch? floyd didnt fight margarito when he was calling him out. margarito at one time even personally approached floyd to ask for a fight. so what about that?
