I have listened to rap/hip-hop since I was a kid, and now I produce rap/hip-hop in my home studio yet you can ask anyone if this has lead me to violence or being ****y. Just FYI they would say NO! That is like saying...everyone that listens to Heavy Metal are murderers!!

I've seen Pacman and David just demolish Goliath or in this case Cotto. I've even seen PacMan Split the golden boy and the hitman in to pieces, My point... It's what's in the inside that matters. Sure Cotto's is strong and too big for pacman. But, picture a little street boy having to survive in the ******'s of the Philippines? That's what Pacquiao is made of! And he wears that character like a knight wears his armor. The more you back this little man in a corner, the more you bring out his fighting spirit!

No, picture a fighter who is not getting the credit he deserves. A fighter who fights boxers that other "top" welterweights avoid. A fighter who took a nasty beating by margarito and still going out there with the likes of Clottey, who would destroy pacman. A fighter who will NEVER again take a knee as seen by the clottey fight. A fighter who will fight a great filipino fighter who has not tested the welterweight division....PLEASE DO NOT MENTION OSCAR OR HATTON. A fighter who will PUNISH pacman with liver shots that pacman HAS NEVER, EVER felt. Cotto has fought fast fighters (judah, mosley, paulie) before, maybe not as fast as pacman. BUT.....Pacman has NEVER, EVER fought a boxer who goes to the body with liver shots that make you fold over.


I'm sorry but the Pacman hype will end when pacman faces cotto. I just don't think cotto will get the credit for winning this fight.

I agree with both you and Los Tarugos, because maybe you are not weak minded and have not been wrongly influenced by the negative elements of the music but there are those who are weak minded. I am talking about as in Los Tarugos example of Gangsta Rap and your example of Heavy Metal. But to generalize groups of people is not accurate like you state.

Individuals that have low self esteem will try to seem like they are hard core gangstas just to feel more secure etc. La cortesia no quita la valentia tu sabes.....

Anyway there is good people and bad people in every getho, just like in any rich town there is good and bad people. I know its not related to the TS but who cares! hehe

Good post! Like you said weak minds do play a large part in what people do. Generalizing is just idiotic to me because it depends on the person not on the music they listen to.
