i've said it before i'm sure, but did anyone see tarver take a forward step that entire fight? he did not look like he was controlling the action because he is a defensive fighter to the extreme and that is why he didn't get the decision and didn't deserve it in my eyes. that being said if he lets his hands go and shows some aggresion in the rematch i think he will pull off that ko.

Look, in both of Tarver's rematches, he's looked on his way to being beaten before landing a lucky punch. But third time's the charm, and Johnson isn't gonna let him get that lucky even once. The problem with Johnson is that he's easy to underrate. He almost never really looks spectacular, and even though he looks better than he's supposed to in almost every fight he's usually the underdog (and consequently doesn't get the decision). Well, not this time, at least as far as I'm concerned. Keep in mind he's on his longest unbeaten streak since '99. Johnson outworks Tarver round after round, and with a possible Hopkins rematch in mind, stops him. At least, this is what I'm hoping for.

            hmm

It's hard to tell. I just wish a prime Roy was around to take 'em both out. I know I'll be rooting for Johnson but when tarver actually gets aggressive sometimes he gets the KO. If he lands on that chin unexpectedly like on Roy and Harding, people seem to fall.

Pretty much everyone on this page. Tarver can only rely on luck for so long.

Tarver "pretended" to be hurt twice in his fight with Glen Johnson to lure him in and get a KO punch off a bad desicion by Glen. It's not a bad strategy but you can't pretend to be hurt twice and expect the judges to give you rounds.

                      ya

Tarver flurries a lot, their punches in bunches, but not hard.

                      I remember Johnson grunting

I thought Tarver was gonna win the fight, but i had it a draw
