Clottey was never a bigger name than Williams was...thats a fact homie...The fight was a go but HBO didnt put up the funds for the fight...you can google that yourself to see the truth...If thats thats the case, why didnt Arum try to send the fight to Verses??? All yeah, this is the same Arum that said he doesnt do business with Goosen, but he was willing to let Clottey (who is with Arum) fight Williams.

Both Williams and Cotto were derailed.

Cotto was derailed by Margarito and Williams was derailed by Quintana, look how fast Williams got out of the Welter Weight division once he settled the score with Quintana. Williams is all over the place now, I am sure that if Williams were to come down, Cotto would face him, but the last I heard, Williams was the king of the 168 pound division according to another poster here.

Williams never went to 168; And I agree that by the time Williams wanted Cotto his name wasn't in the top 5, that's why Cotto never got to fight him. Now Williams won't come down due to the weight issue
