    Mayweather/Marquez Promotion

Is this the worst big fight promotion ever? First it's a fight that should have been on HBO WCB not PPV but it's also $54.95. WOW!! If ticket sales are hurt it's because the prices are way too expensive. Floyd is a big draw but people have this fight as a mismatch in their minds. The original date was announced way too late for a big promotion but when it was postponed I thought they had a chance to promote it better but it hasn't happened yet. I mean the injury thing was never clarified. Floyd wasn't talking much. We don't hear much from JMM. One of the partners in GBP, Shane Mosley, says it was postponed due to ticket sales. I understand he's trying to get a fight but he's also a partner in the promotional company. Very bad move! When Floyd does talk the subject seems to go to Pacquiao or Mosley, not JMM plus he's done no trash talking on JMM and that has helped sell Floyd PPV in the past. Now, in the latest conference call they won't announce the weight and say basically you'll find out at the weigh in. And worst of all IMO Oscar was talking about how great the undercard is going to be but said he won't give any names and to just trust him it's going to be a great card so tune in. Is he crazy? telling us it's going to be great is not a jood job of selling the card. They're really dropping the ball here. 24/7 better be good. That's all I can say!
