If Taylor wasnt KO'd aginst Chavez hed win on the cards.
If Cotto was still standing ONE more rpound he wouldve won.
BUT
They lost whats the ****ing point?
That they were also close fights?
Williams was almost stopped by Margarito in the 11th. It was a dead even fight from rounds 5-12. It was a close fight. End of.

Why did Goosen put Ward in the super middleweight tourney if hes already got a P4P 168lber in Paul Williams?

He didn't put Paul in there, because they wanted the tourney to be competitive, not have an obvious winner (Williams.)

Let it go man....
I never ONCE said Paul was a 168 pounder.....god is that all you gather from this thread..show the man his props.
Out of all the fighters at 154...PAUL MADE THE LIST.
Out of all the fighters at 160..PAUL MADE THE LIST.
NO 168 POUNDERS MADE THE LIST.
A testament to what the RING thinks about Paul.

You're the genius that said it wasn't a close fight. Paul is lucky that Margarito gave him the shot, instead of fighting Cotto for more money.
Williams obviously doesn't deserve to be ranked above Chad Dawson, but apparently the Ring gave him far too much credit for an old, inactive Wright.

Im pretty sure the RING know who Williams and Dawson fought..they made their choice...live with it.
