Agbeko-Darchinyan Postscript: Room at The Top For Both

By Jake Donovan - Reading some of the post-fight reports following SHOWTIME’s telecast this past Saturday, it’s no wonder the best fighters in the world are sometimes hesitant to face one another.

There were mixed reviews coming out of Saturday’s SHOWTIME telecast, which saw Vic Darchinyan fall short in his attempt to snatch a major title in a third weight class. Current bantamweight titlist Joseph King Kong Agbeko had everything to do with that, slicing apart the face of the transplanted Armenian and piling up enough rounds to eventually earn a unanimous decision. I can't help but feel Darchinyan will be after Agbeko again sometime in the near future.

Finally an article with a clear head about where vic stands after this loss. It seems people forget he is still the best 115lber in the world.

wtf, the best my ass. He needs to calm down and stop being arrogant and disrespectful to all his opponents. He had been exposed by Agbeko as a loud mouth b!tch.

We care Jake, we actually do care. Also it was really cool to see you name as a press row scorer. It helps bring legitimacy to boxingscene - not that it needs it!
