1.Your mad because pbf/jmm got more buzz that day than pac/hat.

    2. Thats floyd snrs opinion...so we shouldnt buy the fight based on his thoughts? His thoughts weren't so spot-on for the pac/hatton fiasco.

    3. Dont hate that pbf/jmm is being promoted GLOBALLY even though the contestants are from the same continent...i really doubt a pac fight would ever be promoted on another continent if it wasnt the hometown of him or the opponent.

    4. The weight is 144lbs. The fact that they kept people guessing is really just to keep the buzz going. I dont know how that is a promotional blunder...I mean, you're talking about it right?

    5. You're right. I agree mostly here with only a single side note: JMM is taking this **** as real as a cardiac attack...and unfortunately for pbf, he's going for the win.

      1. Fight was hurriedly announced just 12 hours before the Pacquiao-Hatton fight... It's not a good sign to promote a supposedly "big" fight riding on the buzz of some other big fight... If it's a big fight, it can stand on its own...

      2. Floyd Mayweather Sr. proclaimed that JMM is just a TUNE UP fight for Floyd... Great!! Boxing fans will start buying tickets to see this tune up fight...

      3. Promotional tour visit in London... No disrespect to boxing fans in London but why London? Is it because Matthew is fighting on the undercard? They should concentrate promoting the main event boxers... They could also have the promo tour to Mexico or to Grand Rapids instead of London...

      4. The fight will be at a guessweight... It's up for the fans and media to guess the real weight these boxers will fight... I think this is one of the biggest promotional blunder... Weight as we all know is one of the most important factor in a fight and should be fixed and agreed upon during fight negotiation and should be clearly announced to the media and buying fans...

      5. Floyd is willing to pay step aside money to JMM in order to fight somebody else... This only shows that their fight is really an irrelevant joke fight which can be easily postponed and/or canceled... It's also a big disrespect to JMM...

Since this fight was announced, it's already been viewed as a huge mismatch fight where Floyd has all the advantages... Fans has little interest on this fight and it's not selling well... The promotional blunders make it worst...
      .

Mayweather announcing his comeback was a small footnote in boxing that day, as everone was talking about the upcoming match.

Boxing purists threw up in their mouth when they heard Mayweather was going to cherrypick the lightweight JMM in a catchweight.

No one still cares for the Mayweather vs JMM match, and had to postpone it since they only sold 300 tickets a month before the match. Mayweather has another story.

Now Floyd, ODLH and JMM are using Manny's name to promote the fight. Even though Manny doesnt even have them in his radar right now.

          lol

"Boxing purists threw up in their mouth when they heard Mayweather was going to cherrypick the lightweight JMM in a catchweight."

how does being a pac nuthugger make you a boxing purist?
i think pac/cotto will be a great fight just like pbf/jmm. pacfans just cant stand it when pbf/jmm is mentioned as the opposite is true of pbf/jmm fans whereas they freely engage in discussions. but ive seen all the boycott protests and not watching any fights of any fighters whom may compete monitarily with pac...its ****ing ******. boxing's boxing and we're living in a time where there are no 'what if pac faced cotto' or 'what if jmm faced pbf' "fantasy matchups" because they're actually happening. quit the hate, acknowledge and debate like a civilized fan of the sport.
