That's what I'm wondering too. We know Chris John always pulls out of fights, and Juarez showed a lack of professionalism for refusing to fight Santiago. But if they can get this fight on this undercard with no silly business that would be kick ass because that was a ****ing fight. And people need to get off this robbery ****.

And the reason why I don't think that fight was a robbery was because all the body punches in the fight were landed by Rocky. And John was just more active, but a lot of his punches were ineffective except the one that opened that cut on Juarez's eye. What I mean by ineffective are grazing type punches and punches caught on the gloves. A draw was a fair call in this fight. And I know I may be in the minority.

Damn. I just said that last night on the post. If they promote this fight right and stack it with championship fights on the undercard. Then this fight will sell.

Im looking forward to John/Juarez. I might be mexican but Im rooting for John, he deserves it, he got robbed the first fight.

i agree 100%. i'm mexican too, but i think john clearly won the first time around and they took it away from him. rocky is just too passive, he's always had that problem where he just doesn't let his punches go as much as he should in his big fights. kinda reminds me of clottey.

i'm considering going to this, but after floyd's comments about paying off marquez to get out of the fight, i'm afraid of the fight being put off a second time, when i had already made plans and got tix for july 18 and then they postponed.

then again, what is shaping up to be a strong undercard should help generate buzz and make money.

i'm not sure if i like john-rocky better than bute-andrade, for which there were rumors of landing on this card too. should be a good one i guess.
