Wazaa is a personal favorite of mine, mainly cause he's absolutely ****ing nuts.

Wazza is growing on me because he's actually learnt to be quite (for him) objective. He still comes out with out with bull every now and then but it better than the garbage in this thread.

He's china chinned with great talents. He's a fraud at the minute though because he's not the world champion of anything and is ducking decent opposition to fight guys that have been in wars and can't punch for **** (Paulie).

A hint of objectivity there. I still wouldn't describe Khan as a fraud though. He has only had 23 fights, and is already a titleist having beat Kotelnik who was a very experienced and seasoned campaigner at 140. Plus, regardless of Mallignaggi's punching power or stature he is still a step up for Khan on his U.S debut. I didn't like the way he avoided Maidana, but it was a risky fight to take on his HBO debut. Hopefully Khan fights the winner of Bradley - Maidana, but the winner of Ortiz - Campbell would suffice. Eventually the best at 140 will have to fight each other. If Khan is not as good as I make out, he will eventually be exposed against lesser opposition for a second time in his career and it won't matter who he did or didn't fight. Just enjoy his next fight, and hopefully he will fight Ortiz, Bradley, and Alexander within his next 4 or 5 matchups.

I haven't seen him post in a while to be fair so I can't comment, but my last memory of him is his ""what is Amir Khan up to?" thread, which leaves a very sour taste in my mouth.

A sour taste that is perfectly soothed by the sweetness of rewatching Khan vs. Prescott.

I agree with you Timba. Malignaggi is the smart opponent for Khan at this stage. I also agree that Cambell-Ortiz winner would be a good fight for him. I'll still be on here shouting about how is ducking Maidana if that happens but it's the smart fight for him. Maidana is plain dangerous and I think he'll beat Bradely in a war.
