I am a Khan fan, but not a fanboy. He beats Mitchell. The Prescott loss was an event, it can happen to any fighter. He does have a questionable chin, but at 140 the extra weight helps him. Plus his defense has improved massively under Roach. Finally, his legs are his primary defence.
Amir Khan is the biggest DISGRACE in world boxing.

Khan was found easily by Kotelnik in round 2. Maidana, ALexander or Bradley lays him out with ease.Comment

i agree Khan also beat the following but the following excuses will come:
Maidanna: he was always over-rated, jsut a puncher, slow
Bradley: featherfisted, typical Khan picking a fighter with pillows for hands
Alexander: unknown guy, only one big win,
Hatton: shot, a bum, never that good
Khan moves up to 147lbs and beats:
Cotto: never the same after Margarito
Margairto: finshed by Mosley, brawler too slow for Khan
Mosley: old and shot
Mayweather: feather fisted, never fought anyone
Pacman: smaller fighter, typical Khan beating featherweights
so ther you have it, Khan can do everything but will never get any respectComment

Khan has certainly not got a huge following in the UK, it will never happen simply because of his race(not starting a race debate here, but there are cultural reasons he'll never have a universal following). He could be an undisputed world champion and he'll never pull a crowd like Hatton.(different mentality across here, in general the public love a down to earth working class hero hense the love of Hatton) I certainly don't get overly excited by him (the chin will always be in question but he's a good boxer) but give him some slack, he's just a kid and I can think of a list of about 200+ fighters I'd rather not watch in favour of sitting down in front of a Khan fight.Comment

i understand where your coming from. i give him a hard time on the boards but i dont dislike him. i just think he's pulled the wool over the british public eyes. he should be fighting maidana but he fights salita and the average joe dont know the difference and eveyone is getting carried away for no reason. like i say, he's a good boxer but hes not there yet, but him and his fans carry on like hes the best P4P fighter in the world. he's gotta step up and soon.......... and good luck to him, il support and cheer him for taking the fights and the risks, not whether he wins or loses.Khan has certainly not got a huge following in the UK, it will never happen simply because of his race(not starting a race debate here, but there are cultural reasons he'll never have a universal following).
