I think cotto can take a punch better than those guys. Cotto has been hit by fighters way stronger than those 4. Also, hatton, barrera, morales are lightweight/featherweights and oscar was a statue.

Paulie is not as fast and less accurate. Cotto will see alot of punches but he has decent defense and has been hit by fighters WAY more powerful than pacman opponents.

I think Cotto can handle Pac's speed.. His concern has to be Pac's workrate and stamina.. pac can fight every second of every round full speed cotto can't, if cotto's body punching won't have an effect on pac as the fight goes on and it goes to the deeper rounds cotto's in trouble...

I agree. Cotto needs to improve on his stamina and also wear down pacman with shots to the body, which i know he can. If cotto avoids the body shots like he did with margarito then pacman will win. Cotto has shown that he can take a punch (torres/mosley/clottey). He needs to jab, which marquez, barrera, morales, hatton, oscar did not do.

He needs to go to the liver every chance he gets because we all know one good shot to the liver and pacman will open up then it's bye bye. If he does not succeed to the body pacman will wear him down.

That is what i dislike about alot of fans, whether they are cotto, pacman, floyd, etc. You need to have common sense in these potential fights. I think pacman has ALOT of skills and is a very good fighter. The only issue i have is that he has beaten guys that are not true welterweights, besides oscar and any smart can see that the oscar that fought that night was not the same oscar that fought floyd. Pacman destroyed hatton because hatton is a lightweight. He beat barrera, morales and marquez(once) but they are 125-130lbs. Why do you think his team is trying to make cotto go down to 143 or less? He will be fighting a welterweight (cotto) who fights at 146-147 and the lightest cotto fought recently was 138 against malignaggi and cotto tore him up.

It's like putting cotto vs Pavlik at 158.....would not do it. Again, is pacman a very good fighter? Yes and so is chris john and rocky juarez.

You are correct but it's a different weight class. You know there are featherweights and lower division boxers who are quicker than floyd, pacman, judah. BUT THEY ARE LOWER DIVISIONS !
