Pacquiaos team doesnt want the Cotto fight too much risk.

I have a feeling the weight issue will be pacs backing out of the fight

its a simple mistake i made and you live with it. bottomline is cotto doesnt deserve 60/40 specially when his catchweight request was already granted.

i think they dont want the fight anymore cause cotto is asking too much. he requested that the catchweight shouldnt be lower than 145 and that was granted and now hes asking for 60/40 in which he doesnt deserve.

                Sigh....

                Mayweather vs. JMM

                Pacquaio vs. Cotto

                Winners square off.

Losers square off, or face Shane Mosley.

Winner of that contest faces either of the other winners.

Seemed like an interesting way to set up some golden, memorable fights between 140-147 for the next two years. Instead, we may end up with nothing because of ridiculous men and their pride.

Years ago, guys fought because they loved to do it and they were concerned about their legacy. The money followed.

Now guys fight because they want the money and could care less what mark they leave in the sport.

It's a shame. It's this spirit of entitlement which has plagued this country and sent it tanking. It's in the sports, it's in the people, it's in the government. Soon, we will want everything but we will have nothing.

cosign boxing is almost dead cuz of this money split and catchweight b.s. i dont blame espn for not covering boxing with this crap going on. ufc is taking over while boxing fans debate purse splits and catchweights.

its obvious pac dont like whats on the table and im not only talkin bout the contract, the whole situation is blowing up in his face its like they set the bar for cotto at 145 he said fine, pac take 65 cotto 35 miguel was fine with it, imo pacs is like **** he wasnt supposed to accept this. so now he wants 143 instead of pricing himself out like floyd hes tryin to make cotto surrender with these rediculous weight demands which cotto was very clear that he wouldnt go under 145. i predict this fight wont go past signing the contract, if it does its because pac want to save face, most likely there is going to be some serious buzz mainly from cotto fans. pac if u dont like the fight then dont do it fight floyd hell pay jmm scram money
