What motive would PBF have in virtually calling out Pacquiao?

I`m just wondering why, when all this time, Pac was minding his peace. If I would care to start a LIST of reasons:

    1. Everyone was talking about Pacman, including himself... Instead of the PBF-JMM??

    2.

    3.

For the same reason virtually everyone "calls out" a possible opponent.

To build hype for if and when they do fight.

But Floyd should be worrying about JMM, and vice versa.

Instead theyre jerking each other off in a circle gossiping with ODLH about Manny, who is in negotiaons with another Top Rank fighter, Cotto. Theyre all on Mannys jock.

he's worried sales for his JMM fight will flop, then Manny can demand the lions share of their purse when they do fight. He might also be worried that Cotto will beat Pac, and therefore a Floyd Pac fight wont make as much as it would if Pac doesnt lose. Also if Cotto wins, Floyd might be forced to fight him (j/k, but im half serious too)!!!

            I concur....

That's the most plausible explanation as to why Floyd had a change of heart. If his fight with JMM bombs out at the gates and or the PPV sales, it will diminish his bargaining chip on the negotiating table if and when the time comes for him to make the Pacman fight. Both Floyd and Pacman could also lose too both JMM and Cotto, and it wouldn't make as much dollars if they fight right now, and if I were Floyd, I would rather deal with Pacquiao NOW than Cotto or Mosley, they are all equally dangerous fights for Floyd, but he would make the most coin with Manny, which is always the bottom line in prizefighting nowadays...

I think he may be getting jealous of all the love for pacquiao. The exposure he is getting from all of sport, outside of boxing. Pacquiao has risen so quickly in the last couple of years, I think Mayweather wants the same kind of adulation he's been getting..

Simple, he's fighting for legacy like he said he would, the hitlist is fully intact, boy I'd hate to be on that list.

will the motive is to get free publicty

look at how much attention he got and how many thread are made about this topic.

He want to increase PPV of JMM vs Floyd similar way Hopkins does when he threw Puerto Rican flag against Tito other fights do to get attention.

the more publicty he gets the better for him.

because there's more buzz, not hype, about an unsigned fight for november than a 'return-of-the-king' fight in september?
