Arum says 145, has the contract!

It appears the Pacquiao - Cotto fight November 14th will proceed at 145 lbs. I'm sure it will be covered up with a "just a misunderstanding" regarding references to 143 lbs. that Team Pacquiao wanted.
Somebody blinked. Promoter Bob Arum told NY Examiner Mike Marley the contract has always been 145 lbs. End of story?
It seems all new boxing promoters are going to be taking up golf because the ones that already play have a big head start bumping into world champions that only have a few months left on their contracts.
Those filling Pacquiao's mind with grandiose dreams by asking "Do you know who you are?" could ruin this kid. It happened to Elvis. It just happened to Michael Jackson. A man's credibility and dignity go long before the money and toys.
Manny needs to stay in the gym and fight maybe two or three more times and call it a day. Forget politics and movies for now. Don't buy a gangster record label. Don't buy a sports bar. Get rid of the people you don't need around you. It's just possible he has some scumbags in his ranks and he needs to do what he does best and rid himself of these potential flees.
If his camp were telling Manny "143 lbs. or nothing," and Arum already had 145 lbs on a contract, than Manny is letting people get between him and Arum. He would then be vulnerable to a lot more than two pounds and it will compromise his boxing skill because he's human.
Now is the time for Manny Pacquiao, who absolutely loves his fans and fighting for his country, has to be selfish for his own professional good and start saying "no" to people as he enters the most difficult and profitable point of his career.
