1st Contender for Fight of The Year 2005

I know it was a few days since the fight but the Wayne McCullough - Oscar Larios match was great. I enjoyed every second of it. Turned me into a Wayne "The Pocket Rocket" McCullough fan. Also I thought the fight was a lot closer than the judges had it scored, I had Larios winning by a couple rounds.

Still the only thing missing from the fight was a knockdown of some sorts. But a rematch is in the making. Hopefully Mcullough gets a few more fights in under his belt and bring Larios punk ass to Ireland so the "Pocket Rocket" can get his second world title!

Larios beats him again here and anywhere in the world.

I wouldnt be so sure "Brown Bomber" McCullough i thought won the first 5 rounds, but then lost the stamina in the middle rounds and came back with some fire at the end. The lay off in between fights and his injured hand played a role in his loss, but I would guarantee that if McCullough get some more fights under his belt before he goes up against Larios for the 2nd time trainer Freddie Roach will make sure he will have the stamina to finsh Larios off.

I know he's got an iron chin, heart, etc.; but, getting hit that much isn't going to win him any fights. He's been at it a while now, and I can't imagine he can do this much longer...
