Roman Gonzalez is a beast even if no one cares.

WBA Strawweight champion Roman Gonzales 24-0(20) retains his title against challenger Katsunari Takayama 23-4(9). If you have never Gonzales fight let me tell you he is a beast. It is really too bad so many of the little guys never get any air time on live U.S tv. I would like to see him against Ivan Calderon someday.....any comments on Roman Gonzales if anyone cares or knows who he is.

I will take most of those "midgets" over 90% of the Giants in boxing.

When Gonzalez moves up to 108 they will start showing. With Sosa, viloria and calderon there are some great matchups. The division just needs someone like Gonzalez. Lopez got shown when he was around and Gonzalez is from the same mould.

Highlights from last night, his opponent was no mug either.

I've heard about him and I'd like to see him fight. I like to watch the little guys fight as long as they don't have Calderon's style. Golden Boy should probably sign him and throw him on the Floyd-Marquez undercard with a good opponent. I'd probably have to catch some YouTube videos of him because the networks are probably not interested in the division he is fighting in.

It is just so small i like the lower weight classes like bantam all the way up to cruiserweight but i admit i don't get chance to watch anything below that weight.
