Mayweather, Marquez, De La Hoya Gang up on Pacquiao

I have to agree with these three guys.Pacquiao is one hell of a fighter. He is a true warrior. All of his fights are exciting, but to claim he is the pound for pound best is just taking it too far.It puts me in mind of Arturo Gatti(God bless his soul). I can't think of a fighter who was more exciting to watch. He could beat all the C and D class fighters with ease, but put him in the ring with A and B class fighters and he looked like a club fighter.Pacquiao has not fought the elite at welter or jr welterweight. When he fought Berrera, Morales, and De La Hoya, they were all on their down side. David Diaz was never an elite fighter, some may argue but neither was Ricky Hatton. But there is no question that Pacquiao is a B class fighter. At this point, beating Cotto may not prove otherwise either.Cotto has showed signs of being a fighter on his down side. But that may be because he does fight the elite class.Until Pacquiao convincingly beat a Marquez or Mosley or Mayweather, or even a Tim Bradley or Nate Campbell,he is not the pound for pound best.In my opinion, negotiations between these elite fighters should be 60/40 with the winner getting the 60. Here's a question you have to ask yourself. Could Manny have gone all the way up to 154 and beaten De La Hoya 2 years ago?Could he have beaten Cotto before his brutal fights with Judah,Mosley, and Margarito? Would you have even considered putting him in the ring with Mayweather just after his win over Hatton? My answer to all these questions is no.If the Cotto that fought Judah shows up, he will destroy Manny, but I think that Cotto is gone. Mayweather is just too slick.(that's if he's still the same after his layoff)and Mosley would knock him out. Freddy Roach, Bob Arum, and Manny all knew that, that's why Mosley's challenge went ignored. Also remember,Mayweather fought Baldimer at 147, De La Hoya at 154, there were no catch weights. He beat Corrales in his prime, he beat Hatton at his best, and also a very dangerous Zab Judah. So in my mind as of now, Mayweather is p4p best. He's coming down to fight Marquez which will hurt him more than Marquez coming up.Whether you like his style or not, the man is still undefeated. There is still a legit arguement that Mosley is p4p best.He has fought the better competition in his career and started from 135 and has fought as high as 154 to win a title. He has a vey exciting style and has K O power in both hands.So...right here and right now I am changing my opinion."Sugar" Shane Mosley is the best p4p fighter in the game right now,not Manny Pacquiao!Comment

Lmao at floyd saying "He knocked him down three times and then fought him to a draw. We really know who won that fight." Thats floyd's ignorance summed up in one sentence there if he really believes that.Comment

You just said it.THEY GET PAID. PAID YOU FOOL!!!!! PAID!!!
The same fools that get paid "millions" to commentate theyre "opinions" stood in shock and awe after the last few fights. So they hold no weight.
Everyone has said "pac is too small etc etc" but were taught wrong.Ricky was "massive" in his division and got floored.Oscar was weight drained.....BUT WHOS FAULT WAS THAT???????????????????????????
Obviously lack of PROPER PREPERATION.
Manny has come from a division of the "little men".He's aiming for a 6th title in a diff division.Something nobody has done YET.Thats p4p charasteristic.
Floyd abandoned the division when it was hott and now that he came back its even more hotter.Theres only so much cherry picking you can do.
Oscar de la hoya has won 6 titles in 6 different weight classes!!
sugar ray robinson did it too!!!
you know nothing about boxing you proly just started watching boxing cuz manny pac!!!Comment
