Taking all things into account would include the fact that DLH vs Pac drew that number in the midst of a recession. Also the fight was considered a joke by most in the sport given the large weight disparity with many expecting an easy DLH victory whereas Mayweather vs DLH was billed as a far more competitive fight.

Just split 50/50 and you'll both be rolling in money.

Floyd - JMM's numbers will settle the debate
pac-cotto AND floyd-jmm will settle the debate.

we'll see how much both are worth seeing as hatton and oscar ain't involved and it'll be in the same economic conditions.

The sad thing people dont want to admit is that had these numbers been reversed and Manny did the 2.5 million, then thats all you would hear from fans, talking about how Floyd did only 1.25 mil and therefore should be lucky Pac would even fight him. Please look at things from all perspectives and come to a reasonable conclusion.
the dela hoya-pac fight was viewed by a lot of people as just purely business fight, a highly mismatch fight in favor of oscar. a lot of boxing fans got pissed and did not buy the ppv. some got disappointed with what happened to the dela hoya-pbf fight, turned out to be a big snoozer, that they promised not to be fooled by an oscar fight again. these things hurt the ppv sales of oscar-pac, not to mention the economic slow-down. but had they known that pac would give oscar a bad beating they would have bought the ppv. true story

That wont settle it because we know Floyd-JMM is not supposed to be a big mega fight. If Floyd/Oscar vs. Oscar/Pac doesnt neither does those two.
