I also believe JMM to be the better boxer in a pure sense. Hence he is slightly higher on my list.

The audacity of you people putting Hopkins still as #3 p4p is beyoooond me. The guy IS retired.
Hopkins has only been inactive for 10 months

Floyd will be inactive for 20 months by the time he fights

so what are you talking about

Floyd has a scheduled fight coming up and looked very good in his last outing. Putting a severe, career ending beating on a prime Hatton.

Hopkins has no fight scheduled, he was last seen beating the **** out the world middleweight champion and retiring a legend.

Um, a 43 year old man fighting a 27 year old guy in his prime... and the 43 year old gave him a complete Boxing lesson, your saying that isn't impressive?

Whether you think JMM won or not it can't change the list... Pacquiao's win on that resume so he should be above JMM, plus even though I had JMM winning a close fight... that's what it was a close fight, not a robbery by any means... JMM aint above Pacquiao and neither is Paul Williams.

HOPKINS TO FACE DAWSON-JOHNSON II WINNER IN EARLY 2010?
          By G. Leon

GL: Since our last conversation, have the chances of you returning to the ring increased or decreased?

"I think it's pretty much the same. I turn 45 in January and I know a lot of people tell me I look good for 45, but that's besides the point. I am what I am and I am who I am. At the end of the day a lot is riding on who wins the Glen Johnson-Chad Dawson fight in November.

This is a terrible post. At what point did I say it wasn't impressive? It was one of the best impressive performances I have ever seen in a boxing ring - perhaps the most impressive. I said Hopkins was retiring a legend - which he is no doubt going to do.

Wow, you think JJM won the fight but still think Pac should have the victory because three old men say so? Break away from the mould - this is your P4P list with your own reasons why the boxers listed are the ten best, in order.

Pacquiao is currently going to fight at (145?) against Cotto. Williams weighed in at 145 for the Quintana rematch I believe. If you want to see who is the best out of them at a 145 weight (with Williams coming down by 15 pounds from his current middleweight status) then Paul would be more than happy to end Pac's life and take that number 1 spot on my list.

There is no need for that last comment. Hopkins was also talking about fighting Adamek recently, the guy is all air. You really think he is going to take on Dawson? A prime, young and fully capable 175 champion?
