..What's The Better Win: Split Decision or Majority Decision...

Let's say you're the winner of a fight and it's either of the two options. The fight is close, and the decisive cards are only seperated by 2 points at most.

What, do you think, is the better victory.

    Vote. Discuss.

Probably majority, if I look at a record and see a majority decision I just feel it's a more decisive victory, it isn't always the case but it's just the feeling I get when I see a MD on a record.

majority decision means you win on two of the judges cards and draw on the other..
split decision means you win on two of the judges cards and loss on the other..

        you choose..

          Does it matter?

          A win's a win.

A win is not always a win, and I believe that. Hence, the reason to get an idea of what others think. That's all.

Don't have to.. you know, reply.

Yeah, sorry I interrupted the constant Mayweather/Pacquiao debate threads with something different.

              I'm an *******.

I'm not saying you shouldn't reply. I'm saying, ifyou think it doesn't matter, to some extra extent, you don't have to.

                  Otherwise, I appreciate the reply.

Despite the ominous appearance - on paper, at least - of one judge ruling a draw, MD has to be better. After all, a draw is better than a judge giving the decision to the opponent. SD is open to far more scrunity, since the losing fighter was deemed to have won by a lone judge.
