Originally posted by StickmanSam Peter barely makes it into the "interesting prospect" category. He's slow, easy to hit, his work rate is low, and he's FAT...and he's only in his mid-twenties. If he doesn't spend some serious time on conditioning, he'll be another Butterbean in 10 years, if he's lucky. However, if he does get his ass to work, loses weight and works on his conditioning and defensive skills, he could be a major force in the division in the future.
I would like to see Tua get into shape also. I think a well conditioned Tua could rule the division.

I have a feeling it will be a long time before we ever see a great heavyweight fighter, if we EVER see one, again.
The current crop is mediocre, & none of them are exciting enough
to capture the public's imagination.

This is a old division with not alot of fresh talent. James Toney and Daivd Tua may cause and uproar in my opinion but those two guys are already prime fighters. I guess things kinda look bleak. I'm not impressed with Samual Peter myself to be honest and i don't like Sinan Samil Sam or whatever his name is at all.

I think Vitali is the only one right now who can carry that. No one else even comes close. Sam Peters and Toney maybe, but, they would get owned by VK.
